SUPPORT NEEDED FOR NORTH FRINGE RESIDENTS ON MANAGEMENT COMPANIES

Deputy Tommy Broughan T.D. has asked the Dublin City Manager to prepare a report on the performance of Management Companies in the DCC part of the North Fringe including how DCC Area Management will support the efforts of Clongriffin residents to apply the Multi-Unit Development (MUD) Act to their large management company following the 2011 AGM of the company.

CITY MANAGER MUST RELEASE KEY REPORTS & HELP PRIORY HALL TENANTS

Dublin North East Deputy Tommy Broughan has again asked the Dublin City Manager John Tierney to immediately publish the Hayes Higgins and the Building Control Reports into Priory Hall and to urgently report on what measures are being taken to address the re-housing needs of the many privately renting Priory Hall families now accommodated in the Regency and Bewleys Hotels.

BROUGHAN ASKS DCC TO REPORT ON GULLY CLEANSING AFTER RECENT FLOODING

Deputy Tommy Broughan T.D. has asked the Dublin City Manager Mr. John Tierney to report on the City Council’s preparations and performance during the recentflooding emergency. He also asked the City Manager to specifically refer to the problem of gully cleansing (from Autumn leaves) and longstanding problems during rainfall with a number of Northside rivers including the Kilbarrack Stream.

“I would like the Minister and the Taoiseach to step up to the plate, as I said on the Order of Business. We need a senior Government figure, particularly the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, to become directly involved.
