It is easy to say ‘my vote doesn’t mean anything’ and ‘sure, it won’t make a difference anyway’ but you can be sure that the Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael supporters will be voting in high numbers, to make sure that their interests are protected.
To change things we need to vote, we need to stand with left and left of centre candidates – the ones who agree that housing is a human right and the ones that think we should build public housing and not co-living, build-to-rent, profit making machines.
If you don’t use your vote tomorrow you are saying that you are okay with more of the same. We need strong voices in local government and in the European Parliament and we need to turn out to support the candidates who have our constituencies best interests at heart. Please vote tomorrow.
